Mehitabel was born on Whidbey Island in 1996. The adored and self proclaimed, Princess of the Universe, has lived a charmed life as the inspiration for Way Better Than Working Cartoons. She has generously agreed to share the stage with pandas in late 2007, although in her opinion they have completely overstepped their position in the cartoon hierarchy. She was named for the star character in that well loved book, Archie and Mehitabel. She believes that pandas are over-rated.

Well, it seems Mehitabel isn’t smitten with pandas at all. Oh well, I must tell Claude he should keep his paws to himself.
No, sad to say, Mehitabel is not a big fan of pandas, but she must endure them as they seem to be here to stay. And, yes, Claude should keep his furry little paws to himself, as Bob believes that he (Bob) has an “understanding” with Babette. Whether this is actually the case….hmmmm….to be continued. (Very naughty of you to leave him-Claude- unsupervised)

Mehitabel has SUCH a hard time with the pandas. I’ve heard she may try to apply for a job with Calvin and Hobbes INC. As to Claude (or is it “Clod”?) I can’t be responsible for Bob’s actions if Claude does not get a clue. However, I have heard a rumor of yet another new panda arriving at Babette’s door this very day. I suspect he is up to no good. You will have to communicate with Babette’s protector to hear any details.
