The pandarinas have always been one of my favorites ever since their first appearance. Glad you like them. And tomorrow is the grand finale with three new “days” all at once! Huzzah!

The pandarinas have always been one of my favorite “motifs” ever since the first appearance back in 2011′ I think. Nothing is cuter than a panda in a tutu and ballet slippers.

But of course! That’s what makes it so adorable! (BTW, the hippos dancing in Fantasia is one of my favorite parts of the movie!)

Amilcare Ponchielli composed the music that the ostriches, hippos, alligators and elephants dance to in Disney’s Fantasia. The piece is called the “Dance of the Hours” from the opera La Gioconda. (I believe operas back then often had short ballet interludes.)

I’ve just discovered the Panda Chronicles, Princess Pinky, Bob T Panda, and the rest of the gang. Love your cartoon drawings! And am looking forward to getting caught up from 2010.

Thank you for the info. While I can hold my own in discussions about obsure or semi obscure painters, I know little of the world of classical music beyond the household names. (Not that I don’t enjoy it…it’s just that most of my brain cells are already full of TV show theme music, Beatles song lyrics and um…pandas.
Glad you have found us. Panda Satire is one of the funnest things I have found to do in life.

She was born to be a pandarina. After all, she got her first tutu when she was very small.
