The electricity came back on just in the nick of time! A big windstorm yesterday evening took the power out for much of the island last night (the price of living in the trees!). My neighborhood appeared to be one of the last ones to get their power back and it returned just in time for me not to have to toddle off to the library with my laptop to prepare today’s post.
Huzzah!

I couldn’t watch. I am overcome with rage and despair when I do, unless Adam Schiff is talking, then I get an unreasonable glimmer of hope.
