Oreos and Bears and Pandas, Oh My!

Ya know, I thought about doing something about the trial today, and then I thought, “nah…I don’t want to jinx it by assuming you know who would be found GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY,” so instead I planned this nice little ‘toon about Oreo, the Oreo stealing bear, and THEN, what happens at like 5 AM yesterday morning, my text messages start blowing up with nooz of Binky Li coming to Washington DC, so this time procrastinating worked to my advantage, because I could work the arrival of Binky Li and his girl fren into the ‘toon.

So here ya go! I’m pretty sure Nixon’s ghost will pop in next week to gloat over TFG’s 34 COUNT GUILTY VERDICT.

There will be champagne popping and dancing in the streets tonight. Hopefully the gun totting minions of TFG will be kept under control. Be happy and stay safe, panda friends. We have two new sets of bears to welcome later this year!

Enjoy some Oreos and milk and no double dipping!

The pandas are dancing with joy! Pinky is running up daddy’s panda express card as she makes plans for yet another addition for the Panda House. Consequences have been served to Mittens. Today was a good day.

Right? It is a day of happiness, pandas, cookies, and consequences. I will savor it till tomorrow comes, and all that tomorrow may bring.

I admit I’m a bit in shock. I half expected that one of his “distinguished followers” might have sneaked onto the jury. It would be too much to ask that he have to serve time but I’ll accept small victories.
And thank you for using “Oreo Bear”! We needed this after Tuesday’s trauma! I hope he shares with Pookie!

To sound like a sensible adult for just a moment, I think we need to take this as a win. That 12 citizens could grasp the complexities of the facts as presented through the witnesses and documents, and reach the conclusion that yes, this person committed crimes. That he committed crimes to help “win” an election. And then all the terrible things he did while in office. We should take hope that yes, people who may have been sympathetic to him could still find him guilty.
Frank and Mikey will make sure that Pookie gets some cookies. I can’t promise they will share with Josie. There is a reason she is always mad at them.
