The Panda Season of Love is in full swing, but soon we will all be waiting to hear the pitter patter of little paws. Will they or won’t they? The thing with pandas, is, that you never know for sure until a cub drops out onto the floor, and sometimes even then you don’t know whether it will be one or two cubs.
Pretty cool, huh?
Meanwhile, we have no idea if Lun Lun is interested in staging a repeat performance, or if Mei Xiang, mom to Princess Pinky will want to do it all again.

And then there was that whole scandal about pandas pretending to be pregnant in order to get “special treatment”…

And then there is that whole business of what sort of cub you are going to end up with. If Mei Xiang had know what her little princess would be like, would she have continued the project?
I can hardly wait to see what Mei Xiang thinks of her daughter’s latest aspirations….

Thank you for this panda-sized, err I mean petite perfectly-informative review of Giant Panda reproduction facts for this Pinky-sized Fabulous Furry Friday. Totally and fabulously packed with with all the fun-filled facts, for both the novice and knowledgeable panda-fanatic alike. As that Disney heroine Lilo would say, I like it!
DC got busy and the West Coast has been presenting. What about those shy-Southern Belles? The Terrible Trio of Felines and I remain perched and prepared from on top our pseudo-Southern-porch, prepared for panda pregnancy, pleural we plead. The perplexed pussy-cats, and I are prepared-to-wonder-over-yonder as mad-mannered as Meihem2 or plunder as un-peacefully as a petulant Princess Pinky to determine if this will be, The Spring and Summer Panda Pregnancies Followed by the Summer and Autumn of Pink Panda Buttersticks In the United States.
And just what about Scotland. A plaid pair of Buttersticks sounds good to me.
Oh, if we were to be, so fortunate.
It would be so grand to have a trifecta of American born pandas, although I have not heard of any jiggery pokery goung in in Atlanta or Memphis. Twins all around,I say!
Scottish panda butterticks would be fabulous as well. It is long past time for the pitter patter of little paws ringing out in Edinburgh!
Wonder what Mr Wu will do if the next US panda is a boy?
Will Lun Lun demand a DNA test this time? Not that she doesn’t trust Yang Yang, but because the keepers have had 4/5 cubs as the incorrect gender.
After the onslaught of Pinky and the Meihems, I think Mr Wu would be so relieved that the new arrival in Pandiego was a boy, that he would not be concerned that there was a new cubby. If he has a little sister, all bets are off,
