In all the excitement of the birth of twin panda cubs at the National Zoo, and then the sad news of the smaller of the cubs death, a little news item got…um…overlooked and everyone wants to know: Who’s your daddy?

BOOK 6 Dear Bob T., how exciting! When does the new book become available to us? Will there be a Kickstarter? Is this the Cuppycakes book? So much to anticipate for a Friday morning before Labor Day. Alas, you may go may go on vacation and we may have to wait until Wednesday to find out.
Wu is me! Pun intended.
The Cuppycake Cookbook is not ready yet, and we are still hoping for a traditional publishing deal for it. Still making the rounds of agents with that one. I won’t do a Kickstarter for Book 6 and I’m not sure if I can do pre-orders through Create space or Amazon. I need to get the cover done first, and then ask the proper person(s) to see if I can do that. I am thinking about a coloring bok, and I might do a Kickstarter for that. I’ll let you know.
My goal is to have it done by October so that it is available for holiday gift giving. Huzzah!

I have a very luddite-ish method for figuring out the order of cartoons that go into one of my Panda Chronicles collections: i take the actual cartoons, each done on a separate sheet of Bristol board and put them in the order I want them to appear in the book. And wouldn’t you know, that, while they are not ALL about Pinky, Many, many of them are, probably about 75% (not a scientific assessment) are about Pinky. I don’t know how she managed that, but she did.

Can you believe a “dog” and a “goat” are challenging PINKY??? Da nerve!!!
And as not to gib da ‘pression that Pinky’s cubpaign isn’t completely honest, we
hab changed her cubpaign slogan
from:
“Vote Early, Vote Often, Vote PINKY!!!!”
to:
“Vote Early, Vote SMART, Vote PINKY!!!!”
It is wise of you to change Pinky’s cubpaign slogan. The “vote often” thingie often gets people into trouble.
I hope to get my own campaign video done this week. I don’t know WHO would vote for a dog, let alone a goat. It should be pandas all the way.
