To Swear or Not to Swear – That is the Question…
I swear I heard the story on NPR, and while I can’t find the exact link, I found a number of articles that talked about a book called Swearing is Good For You. I couldn’t have said it better myself! Of course, that story inspired todays ‘toons. I did find several articles about this study, even if I didn’t find the NPR one. Here’s one of them!~
And me? Well, I’ve been known to curse like a sailor, as they say in some parts, and lately, I have found the news more than inspiring to just let a good long string of them rip.
Can you identify all the bleeped out words? I bet you can!
PANDA ON!
Bob T Panda
😂
I have to confess, I was laughing my head off as I wrote and drew this ‘toon. I think it is my favorite of the year so far!
Bleeping hilarious!
Hee hee hee!
Ping!
Hi Bob!
Just wondering: Is “ping” really profanity in Pandese? Has baby learned a naughty word?
Well, we just don’t know, Dude.
Ping!
Hmm, wouldn’t that be an interesting revelation, and from a chbby cubby, no less.
Heh!
I <3 this toon!!!! The best, of course, was Bubba being Bubba, the innocent darling that he is and always will be.
Bubba will always step forward with all that is good. I fear that his illusions will be shattered sooner or later.
Really clever. Gets the reader to use their imagination to fill in the blanks – just quietly, I had a few choice words, but too polite to share in this good company.
Thank you. I had a lot of fun writing it. Bleep!
BLEEP, BLEEP, BLEEP! Ping. I said all kinds of words. Then, sweet Bubba promises that Mommee will wash our moufs out with soap, and I got ahold of my cursing self. I used the f word, the s word, the p word, the q word, and I made up words! This was so funny! Thank you!
Huzzah! And don’t you feel much better now? Repeat as needed.
🙂
