One Last Day to Celebrate Pinky and Bubba!

I can hardly believe that birthday week for our most favorite bears is almost over. Rumor has it that Pinky is not having a party this year, because she might, um…have a cuppycake in da oven. Won’t that be interesting? because I have chosen (yes, I do get to choose this) to kind of suspend my pandas in time, on a sliding scale, Having Pinky suddenly become a mum, might be too much for my tortured brain.

Meanwhile, my bout of flu last week seems to be gone, just in time for smoke to fill our skies, thanks to wildfires in Washington, Oregon and Canada. Oh, and there is the little matter of the revelations by 45’s personal (former) attorney, not to mention the conviction of his former campaign manager. Are we watching the news or a rerun of The Sopranos? Really, it’s kind of hard to tell.

So let’s have a few laughs and a cuppycake (or three) with Pinky and Bubba!

Is this any way to treat our Nation’s most adorable icon?

The forces of Meihem are only barely in check.

Just a reminder: repeat after me: this is fiction.

What could be better than a bear and her mouse?

The Spirit of Halloweens yet to come is not a spirit to be messed with, right?

Could this be Pinky’s future office? Pinky: may i remind you, you should have voted for me!

I didn’t THINK that Pinky knew the “share” word.

And of course, one of my all time favorites…

See? I told you it was broken!

Be careful Ping Ping! The Panda House might not be…um…completely safe.

Ha ha! Oh that Pinky!

Wonderful memories of a younger Pinky and her shenanigans, and meeting Larry for the first time, and being introduced to Ping.
This is sort of sad to admit, but I’d completely forgotten what Ping looked like without his doggy suit.

He looks like a panda. (hee hee. sorry. :-})
I always like revisiting old ‘toons. There are so many now, that I actually forget some of them, and am so glad when I find them!

How did you get flu in August forcryingoutloud? Feel better…and the idea of Pinky being a mom gives me the fan-tods.

I don’t know how I got the flu in August. It was most unfair, but fortunately did not last long!

Don’t know if you saw Aunty Charlene’s post, but she was recently (or still is) in China, and saw Pinky sunning herself and greeting her fans. That means no pitter patter of little cubby footie-prints for Pinky this year. Just as well, really. I don’t think any of us are ready!
