* We would like to point out that even though the English Channel is NOT the sea, exactly, it is a large, scary body of water, especially for 2 small bears in a leaky boat, the SS Tipandic.
Finally we had time to rescue the torch bears, so that we could get on with the Olympics (before they are over in real life.) So, without further much ado about pandas, ย here they are, the 2012 Torch Bears!
Tune in next week for more panda olympic coverage!
Be the (slightly soggy, but still cuppycake obsessed) Bear!

Oh, I love their expressions in the second panel – aww! You know, this reminds of this story book that I used to read as a child: ‘The Adventures of Tammy Troot’ by Lavinia Derwent, a Scottish writer, about a Scottish Trout – lol. One of the stories was about him swimming the Channel and beforehand him, and the other competitors, were rubbing lard all over them to stay warm! Ha!
Great work! ๐
Thanks! I love those expressions too. So innocent (heh heh) that you could NEVER suspect them of naughty behavior. I will have to check out the Adventures of Tammy Troot. I love picture books. Good thing the torch bears managed to escape the consequences of selling their torch before the Olympics. More to come, now that I have some other work out of the way.
