Countless grizzlies, pandas and other bears who have been caught unawares on cameras would growl a resounding NOOOO! Wild pandas have been caught on camera, and now…now, lovable grizzly bears Frank and Mikey may have been unjustly accused of a crime!
But then, just where did those fuzzy dice come from? The Shameless Commerce Division of Car Talk, perhaps?

When you make a pin with Tai Shan please consider including his little duck buddy Wally. I put little Wally in all the cartoons I drew of Tai. There is a back story about that baby duck. Many thanks!
I remember Tai’s duck, (from your drawings) but I’m not sure I know the back story. Can you share it here?
As I recall, all of Wally’s siblings fell into the storm drain and perished. I remember seeing a picture of Wally, all alone, walking along bravely with his mom. I think Uncle Bobby named him Wally. In my drawings Wally became a friend to all. All my Panda drawings included Wally, even when I drew the black bears in Ely, Minnesota, Wally was there and in charge.

Most laugh inducing lines : “OOO! I love these!” and “Uh Oh CRAP!!!”… chuckle, chuckle, guffaw … I imagine Bubba will have his propeller beanie, but will he have his overalls and his stripy shirt too?
Bubba will most definitely have his overalls and stripey shirt. I was just working on his pin design. I had done this elaborate design with Ping and Banky Pig and General Bun, but I realized it was too busy to be a good pin. I does have other potentials, so all that work is not for naught. Some one on Twidder suggested the classic Bubba depiction from the book, and with a little work to make it work as an enamel pin, it’s going to be FABULOUS! Maybe a sneak peak on Sunday!
