Well it has been quite the trill, and it’s not…quite…over.
There are about 40 hours to go until my project closes on Kickstarter, so if you haven’t signed up to get a book or a poster or Bob T. Panda for President bumper stickers, there is still time. If you already are a supporter, now you get to sit back or jump around the room yelling “HUZZAH!!!!!! BRING ON THE CUPPYCAKES.!!!” Your work is done, at least for now. Later you will have to tell me where to send all of your goodies, but that isn’t for a few days. Oh yeah, and pay your credit card bill that Amazon will so sweetly send to you, but again, that is later.
Right now, Babette has a few words to say to you and I’m sure she wants to thank you for supporting my project, don’t you, Babette? Babette?

I am working on setting up the book even as we speak, but I want to thank the faithful followers of The Panda Chronicles once again. I really could not have done it without you, and I just want you to know that the panda kindergarten PROMISES there will be NO monkey business when they pack and ship your books to you. Really. They pinky swore and everything!
Well, now maybe we can quit spending all out time jumping up and down and watching the numbers change, and get some more new cartoons done, eh?

You have always been popular in my household, and everywhere I have been priviledlged to nudge my Twisted Pals. I have alerted my Son Greg to not just throw away any emails and inquiries from Bob, Panda Chronicles, Panda Kindergarten or Kickstarter lest it be the one where an address needs to be filled out. I had to make him order; through his computer before I found out how to up my order myself. It would ble very good if each book you send out brings back the fan already there, and they bring one more to you~~it sounds good to me. Just how nmany cuppycakes are needed for the kindnergarten class??? You are going to hug and kiss each and every Kindergartener while you have the chance….Love Grammmie
You are very sweet to tell me I am popular at your house. I hope your son enjoys the book as much as I’m sure you will. I hope to have book 2 out by early spring, although it does not look like I will get enough funding to do it at the same time as book 1. I think this is quite alright as I realize I have a bit to learn, and can do it more easily if I am doing one book at a time.

Congrats, sis! I had a cuppycake today (chocolate with dark chocolate frosting, as is my wont) in honor of the project’s successful funding. (Yes, I like using words like “wont.” I also like “alas” but it would not be appropriate here, fortunately.)
Glad you are celebrating appropriately (with cuppycakes) Alas, there are never enough cuppycakes around when I need them, as is my wont. Gadzooks! Not to mention “forsooth!” Egad.
