Controversy continues to swirl around the question of conflict of interest in the Executive Branch of the government. It’s been a long time since my civics and government classes in high school (never you mind HOW long) but I don’t remember the chapter titled: Using the Presidency to Get Rich – A guide to better living through self promotion. I’m pretty sure that kind of behavior is banned in government. Press secretary and presidential councilor product pimping comes to mind, for example.
But some companies have declined to carry certain product lines and You Know Who called for boycotts…

Sooner or later a line is going to be crossed. Um…who am I kidding. So many lines have already been crossed with no consequences whatsoever. I would have been sent to my room with a stern lecture at least 20 scandals ago. But buy my books anyway.

So if Prezident Mitty, or anyone else, for example my ex a reptile in human form, pardon me I meant repugnant person, thinks they can keep me from Nordstrom, they are woefully uninformed of my PandaSeattleWillfullness. Me, seattlegirlsk (the sk stands for sleeping kitties) Voldemort/FatherofKidlet left me with his 6 purebred felines; told me to have them “put down”. Blergh, like I would follow that command anymore than I would boycott my beloved Nordstrom Best. The air is just better in their stores and they have what I want. I know how to shop there. aI know how to shop the sales. Because I am SeattleGirl! As for Kittanka’s stuff, I think it is overpriced. Sorry for the rant. Some matters are serious such as pandas, cats, Nordstrom, and Seattle. And matters Seattle. Wishing you peace. ? ?
Alas I am down to a headcount of one kitty: Kai-Triss-Kit, known as Triss. She is lavender, which is lovely, and we haven’t told her she isn’t brown.
