Oh me, oh my! Bubba has broken the chains of his good bear persona, (or is that bearsona?) and headed north to say goodbye to his true love, before she moves all the way across the country! Can you blame him? Surely Mommee Mei will take his broken heart into consideration, as our story continues.
But let’s see what happens next!

Rubbing hands together in gleeful anticipation. Give them both barrels!! If only tarring and feathering was still allowed, along with locking them in pillories and throwing rotten fruit at their heads. (quietly cackling)… Anyway … may Bubba never grow out of his sweetness or his crush for Yip. And the “innocent” grins on the two are the best. Thanks for the laugh.

Rut roh! The jig is up; time for Bubba to put on his charm and sweet talk his way out of being grounded. I hope Mama Er Shun will allow him to stay for a little while longer.

Learning how to make different expressions on the pandas’ faces is one of the most fun developments since I started drawing these toons. It makes them so much more real to me.
