Day 14: It’s a Wun-derful Life

We are back with another holiday classic, It’s a Wun-derful Life! Huzzah! Mr Wu is given the gift of seeing what the world would be like if he had never been born. But why are we standing around here talking?

On with the show!!!!

Thank goodness Bee the Bear still has her magical wand from the last adventure.

The Panda’s New Clothes

It’s Day 13 of 31 Days of Pandas, and as promised, today we have a new cartoon featuring Bubba (and of course his big sister Princess Pinky) and today Bubba get’s his official Panda Chronicles outfit! Like Pinky with her tutu and tiara, and the Meihem twins with their Panda Scout Uniforms, I knew Bubba would need a signature outfit to show to the world.

And here it is!

And look! He got a little extra present too!

It’s a Wun-derful Life, starring, you guessed, it, Mr Wu!!!!!!

Quiet in cheap seats! I’m allowed to play favorites, and since Pinky just got a whole ‘nother book, almost to herself, I thought the Wu-Self should get a little more air time. Plus Pinky and Bubba will be here with an all new cartoon on Sunday where we reveal Bubba’s official Panda Chronicles outfit! Huzzah!!!!!!

I’d also like to take this opportunity, as it is also Fabulous Furry Friday, to mention that there is no better time than now to give the gift of panda satire! Rather than start another one of my longer stories today, I thought I’d dive deep deep deep into the archives for one of my …um…quirkier stories. What made me think of this story was a post from Colorado writer Kathy Lynn Harris, who I discovered through The Write Life Magazine. She had written an essay there that made me an instant fan. The story also, just possibly made me spew coffee all over my laptop, since I had the bad sense to drink while reading. Not that I blame her, or anything.

Anyway, a recent re-read of this post made me decide to dig my own tribute to Barbie out of the archives and share it with you here.

Well, we have made it to Day 9 of 31 Days of Pandas, and we are at the end of our encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu! Wasn’t that fun? When we left you yesterday, Princess Pinky had just vanquished the Wicked ~~Cat~~ Witch of the West! But what happens when our heroes return to the lair of The Wizard, to claim their prize?

Huzzah! We are back again for 31 Days of Pandas, and our encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu! Yesterday, the Wicked ~~Cat~~ Witch of the West sent her henchpandas out to capture Wu and his magical bunny slippers! Will they succeed? Let’s find out!

Evilness is one thing, but there must be snacks!

Uh oh! Am I going to leave you with only two more episodes to go? Well, yes I am. Bwahahahaha! Will the identity of the wizard be revealed? will wu get home safely? will there be cuppycakes for all?

We hope you have been enjoying this concentrated dose of pandy goodness. If you have been enjoying it, I hope you will share our stories with your friends. They might not know they are pandaholics (yet) but I believe that everyone with a sense of humor has the potential to embrace their inner panda.

31 Days of Pandas, day 6, and at last! A new ‘toon!

It was Bubba’s 100th day birthday earlier this week, and the panda fans of DC gathered to celebrate, even though the guest of honor has not yet made his public debut! Thanks to my good friend and videographer to the (panda) stars, Doxie M Panda (my cousin on my mother’s side), we can see some of the highlights (so far!) of Bubba’s first 100 days.

Princess Pinky is looking forward to another kind of first 100 days, but maybe she shouldn’t count her chickens too soon and all that.

Meanwhile, let’s join the celebration…

Happy 100th day Birthday! More frosting!
