Oh my. 31 days of Pandas, 31 days until the inauguration. In my head, The Eve of Destruction and The Day the Music Died are playing in a continuous loop.
We must be brave. We must panda on.
Panda on.

My inner panda thinks I’d like to visit this garden! Would you mind revealing the location?
This is Kew Garden, outside of London. It is huge and wonderful! (Take the District Line from Green park or Earl’s Court stations)
Thank you!
I keep replaying Cohen’s, “Hallelujah” over and over in my head. Eve of Destruction sounds like it would fit right in.
How could I forget Leonard Cohen? That is perfect.
The music running through my head is a line from Verdi’s famous choral piece “Va Pensiero” (sul’ali dorati) (Fly thought on golden wings) from “Nabucco” The line is “O mia patria si bell’ e perduta!” (Oh my country, so beautiful, so lost.) The song is sung by the Hebrews during the Babylonian captivity under Nebucchanezzar (sp). Google the piece. It’s really beautiful.
That sounds so much more uplifting than my mental play list. I have to go back to listening to the Moulettes sing “A Glorious Year.”
