Okay, I really hate today’s post, just as you said we could. Poor Bai Yun! Poor little Wu! I keep telling myself that it’s just a story, but it still makes me want to cry.
Oh dear…I really don’t mean to bring you distress. will it make it any better if I tell you this is the absolute depth that this story will sink to, and that tomorrow it starts getting better? How about if you had a cuppycake? Cuppycakes and chocolate always make me feel better.

Me too. About the cuppycakes and chocolate, that is. I find a little wine helps too. I’d use Boo Beer if I had it.

There’s an old Stephen King short story, “Word Processor of the Gods”(remember word processors?)…similar theme,one section about a mother whose child was never born. Lesson: the universe unfolds the way it is supposed to. Loving this series! You are very clever and your drawings are amazing.
I don’t know this Stephen King story. I will have to check it out. Glad you are enjoying the series. I feel like I have been really stretching my story telling muscles this last year, with all of Mr Wu’s adventures. (which I had better get back to right now, since Sunday afternoon is upon me, and I have to get Mr Wu out of this pickle!
Even drunk and mean Bai Yun is still adorable.
