Meanwhile, pandas are appearing around the interweb in celebration of Pandamorphosis. They have recently made a appearance on Kirby Larson’s blog, Kirby’s Lane. Huzzah!
On Wednesday, Inspector Panda will return to continue his tale of mystery and intrigue. ( Well, we hope so, anyway.)

I’m hoping that she doesn’t find it for a while. I think she is going to be grounded for a while. No computer and no wand. I’m also pretty sure that Pinky will get around the restrictions.

Uh oh, indeed. You know how trios of girls can be. someone is always ganging up on someone else. I’m sure they will grow out of t eventually. It’s too bad the twins didn’t turn out to be boys. Pinky could have played them off against each other.
Now that I think about it, would probably more realistic to have Mei Xiang grabbing Pinky with her teeth by the scruff of her neck, which she seems to do playfully and regularly when they are “at home”.
Pinky said she didn’t want to do that in this cartoon, as it might have made her “look bad.” I don’t know how she could have looked less bad, since it was her idea to kidnap Hobbes. Well, all’s well that ends well, right?
Would be good to see this ‘hostage’ situation from Hobbes’ point of view. I imagine that life is far more hectic chez Calvin than it is being waited on paw-and-paw by three pretty pandas girls…..
I imagine Hobbes will be giving some interviews to the press about his ordeal. At least I’m pretty sure he will write a letter to Viewpoint on ZooNooZ. And we know from his encounters with Susie, that Hobbes is not immune to a little sweet talk and a pretty face.
