I mentioned the aforementioned tin foil hat to a friend the other day, and he was not aware of the phenomena. If you don’t know what I’m talking about either, there is a trope in the “conspiracy theory” genre of “literature” that in order to keep the government (or aliens) from spying on your very thoughts, one could wear a hat made from tin foil to keep them from accessing your innermost (presumably depraved) thoughts. Try Googling “tin foil hat” …there is some wild stuff about them!
