Now that the Canadian Twinkies are home at last we can all breathe a deep sigh of relief! It would not be prudent to annoy the Prime Minister of Canada by keeping his favorite panda friends here in the US. We are relieved that an international incident has been avoided for the time being.
But can we put this regrettable incident behind us?
I think not.
There may be political concussions!
Life continues to get more and more absurd in the political trenches. It is hard to know whether to be completely horrified, or excited at the wealth of material for satire. A bit of both, I think. Meanwhile, one of Bob’s former political opponents rears his fuzzy head this week. International incidents are nothing compared to this.

Pinky is kind of out of control, isn’t she? But then again, I heard Mittens the Cat is going to return to the ‘toon, and I think he makes Pinky look calm and reasonable. Time to be very afraid.

Um…how much could you not take it if Mittens was sporting a blond combover. Would it help that the drawings are in black and white?
You sure do draw those Canadian Twinkies awful cute. Or as I prefer to think if them, The Frozen Twinkies, as opposed to The Southern Belle Twinkies. I have considered calling them The First Nations Twinkies, however, I’m going with the flow and considering avoiding another international incident just for you. Of course there were rumors of Unka Justin doing something somewhere in the past week.

“litical concussions” – Rut roh! If I was Bubba, I wouldn’t be alone, ever, until Pinky had gotten over her anger, if that’s ever possible. Maybe he could convince Mei to give Pinky back her magical wand to make up for it? (WHOA!! Why did I type that?! That would be the end of the world!)
I am counting on the return of Mittens the cat to the political areana to distract Pinky from revenge against her liddle brother.
I don’t think Mei will let Pinky have unaccompanied access to Bubba till she cools off a bit. Her magical wand might come in handy against Mittens, of course. Oh that we had a magical wand to deal with our political difficulties.
