OK, here goes…
As a SoCal resident, I have to say that Sea World does fantastic rescue work here. They literally keep themselves a phone call away. They also gave an excellent, though not widely seen, response to that “Documentary” that was released.
That being said, I’m just glad we’re past the days, at accredited zoos, Aquariums and elsewhere, of taking animals out of the wild for our amusement. Short of a necessary rescue, we should work toward conservation.
And I STRONGLY advocate for the term “Sea Panda”. Tuxedo cats should be “Kitty Pandas”. Holstein cows are “Moo Pandas”…
Tuxedo cats should definitely be called Kitty Pandas. I think there actually is a breed of cows that’s called a panda cow. But I like Moo pandas better.
Oooooh I’m excited to see the news make it across da ‘lantic Ocean!!! Yes, yes, here in Spain, at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea, we have the most famous orcas… that attack recreational boats… tourists don’t want to go sailing. They are a group of several orcas, and they have a leader, named GLADYS.
