I love the story line of Bubba making friends with the Canadian Panda Twins. With a sister like Pinky, Bubba needs playmates that like him just the way he is. Of course now he has Ping with him all the time, but he still misses Yip and Jip. (especially Yip)
There are so many things going on that I just can’t face in the news, so I’m just going to put my paws over my ears, so I can post today’s ‘toon. Meanwhile, as I type this, it is the Wu Self’s birthday. Happy Birthday, sweetest bear!

Could you imagine having to endure this virus/self-isolating/quarantine mess WITHOUT a ‘pooter for social networking??? Granted there are issues, but fezbook & the interweb have saved me from pitiful loneliness. I’m sure there are people experiencing serious depression due to current circumstances and my heart goes out to them, but social media has kept me going. Back in late March I was part of a livestream conversation with a Harvard psychology professor who mentioned that traumatic events such as what we’re experiencing yield a 50/50 chance of either personal growth or PTSD; chances of growth are hugely improved by active social interaction. I’m totally on board with that.
I would be completely losing my mind were it not for all my friends that live in the little box on my dest. Is it crowded in there? should I smoosh some cupcakes into the screen? It is a tragedy that Bubba has to share the family ‘pooter with Pinky. (quite frankly, she should use some campaign funds to buy her own.)
I think I am getting BOTH PTSD and personal growth, possibly in equal measure.
Thanks for being there. We have a 50/50 chance of surviving all this!

It made me sad to write that line. I can’t imagine he will win relection, unless of course he cheats, which we totally know he will do. Even if he loses, he can do so much damage between now and January 20th. I trust Joe Biden. I suspect he is already talking to people who will make policy with him, on foreign relations, on stopping the pandemic, on the economy. It infuriates me that Minch McTurtle has already made clear his determination to throw a monkey wrench in where ever he can.
Enough of that.
I heard a rumor that Mei and Tian were getting Bubba his own PandaBook Pro for his birthday, so he doesn’t have to share a computer with Pinky any more.
I hope Bubba gets his own PandaBook. I think Yip would be vey happy – and Ping! 🙂
