Isn’t Bubba a sweet boy? Reading a story to General Bun and Banky Pig! And wouldn’t you know, that Pinky would come in and disrupt the peaceful scene. While the real Princess Pinky packs her belongings and gets ready for the long flight to China, OUR Princess Pinky is digging in for the long haul.
One of these days, Bubba needs to put a lock on that door.
And now that I have your attention, here is the FULL cover for the newest offering from the Panda Chronicles! Huzzah! Any day now it will be available to add to your panda library!

I love the way Banky Pig is hiding behind Bubba! I would hide too if Pinky was collecting late fees from me 🙂
Love the cover for Book 7. Pinky and Bubba are so adorable.
That is one of my favorite drawings of Bubba. I’m really happy with the way the cover turned out. I love that Periwinkle blue. It is very calming. 🙂
Bubba certainly is a sweet boy! I love that he was reading the story with the book upside down.
Looking forward to ordering my copy of ‘don’t call mee boo boo’.
He was reading one of the “Hairy Panda” books. He might not have noticed it was upside down. I’m not sure they have covered reading yet in school. That might be a year two class.
Oh Pinky is wicked! Doesn’t she know that the tax deadline is not until April 18th this year? (15th on a Saturday and then Patriots’ Day on the 17th.) I am sure she does. I love the book cobber! When is the book available?
Pinky wants to get a jump on Bubba’s taxes. She has refused to disclose her own returns.
I’m hoping the book will be out by the first or second week of March. I need to wait for a second proof, as fixing a small issue on the cover resulted in a techno screw-up, which slowed me down a bit. Sigh….technology is not always my friend.
The first panel reminded me of when I was a newborn and my sister was only a year old, how she’d “read” to me nearly every day. I’m sure Bubba’s story for General Bun and Banky Pig was far more interesting 😉
I loved how fast Banky Pig ran and hid behind Bubba when Pinky entered the room. Knowing how much Pinky loves money and always wanting withdrawals, I’d react the same way.
Banky Pig knows what’s what!
What a fun memory about your sister”reading” to you. I don’t remember anything like that, although there is a story about my brother shoving me onto a department store elevator just as the door was closing. It did not work in getting rid of me.
I have a photo of my sister reaching up and over my parents’ bed to show me a book that she was holding. It wasn’t until I was older that my Mom told me what that was all about, that my sister would do that a lot and would even turn the pages at the correct moment of the story.
I’m glad that I don’t have an older brother because I probably would’ve received the same “love” as you had 😉
That is an adorable memory! I hope it instilled a love of reading for your whole life. Books were definitely my refuge when I was growing up. That and sneaking into my brother’s closet of comic books when he wasn’t home.
Ha Ha! Nice to know that I am not the only younger sister with a sib who had, um, not such nice tendencies towards me, although hers were limited to burning my finger with a hot iron or chipping one of my front teeth etc.
Oh my! I hope she is better behaved now. #HideTheSharpObjects
Poor Bubba. He seems so stressed out for someone so young. Perhaps that’s why he eats so much.
I’m sure that’s it. Having a sister like Pinky would stress anyone. That’s my excuse too.
