Eight years since Mehitabel left this earth
Eight years since F45 first came to power
Eight years since I hoped it would not be as bad as I was afraid it would be
Eight years since I was wrong…it was worse.

Five years since we were swept away by what became a worldwide pamdemic
Five years since we had to mobilize to get someone in the WH who is an adult, and knew how to get things accomplished

Four years since we started coming out of the terrible pandemic
Four years since we witnessed the most horrific attack on our country, perpetrated by American citizens against American citizens, since the civil war
Four years since we thought there was hope that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could turn us around

Now here we are again. It will be worse still. Apparently F45 DID learn his lesson. Just not in the way we wished he would. Courage! Now is not the time to give up.

I can’t say I blame her. I didn’t want to live with F45 as the Wanker in Chief, either.

Thanks for indulging my annual remembrance of the late, great Mehitabel. A cat among cats. We’ll be back to celebrate the return of the Panda Cam on Thursday!
