News from the San Diego Zoo, Department of panda whoopee reports that Bai Yun and her favorite stud muffin, Gao Gao, had a romantic encounter today. Mr Gao Gao has an advantage over most zoo pandas, in that he was wild born and so has better instincts and ….um…technique than…um…some other pandas we could name.
So in honor of the panda season of love, let’s have a few love pandas from the archives!

WEll, you know….frosting…’nuff said!
I love the detail in the one about Bao Bao…I mean, Pinky’s…announcement. Lun Lun with a tiny little Meihem in each big paw, Tai Shan’s sweet, smiling face (It may be my imagination, but he’s always seemed very happy), Gao Gao’s half an ear, etc.
Also, the 50 Shades of Black and White one will always make me laugh. The kindergartener running around cracking the whip is gold.
I think Tai Shan is always a happy boy. Just saw an old video of him doing the great escape through a window in his room (with mom’s help no less!) i think Pinky came by her wild girl genes quite honestly…from her family!
