I bet you were wondering when I was going to get back to this, but what with Bebe Maurice’s birthday, Zhen Zhen’s big adventure and, oh…I don’t know, the collapse of civilization as we know it, I just got the tiniest bit off track! I’ve been out and about peddling my fine art wares in various places too.
But what about Pinky???? Pinky has fans! You can’t just neglect her!!!!
And we haven’t been! in addition to fine arting around, I have also been preparing to release the Panda Chronicles books as ebooks! Now, I am a print kind of person. I like books. I like reading them, I like the smell and the feel of real books. But over the years, a number of people have asked me, “Whhhhyyyyyy can’t we have ebooks toooo!?!?!?!?” Well ask no more, your dreams are about to come true! I’m still in the process of getting the books set up, but since it is Pinky and Bubba’s birthday month, I thought I should get those ready first, so that we could have…

As I mentioned before, Book 7 (Don’ call mee boo boo) and Book 8 (The Pinky Defense) ebooks are now on sale for $2.99 for Pinky and Bubba’s birthday month. Also, if you haven’t bought the print editions yet, you can also get the ebook along with the print edition for only $.99! TBH, I don’t know if this is retroactive for people who have already bought the book, but if anyone wants to try, let me know, okay?
I am slowly getting the other books set up as ebooks (partly because Amazon finally made it easier (not easy, just easier) to convert the print PDF into an ebook without having to jump through a lot of hoops or pay someone hundreds of dollars to do it!) and I’ll keep you posted as to the progress!

A garden for Pinky! But where is Mr. Bun? Is he all right? If I remember correctly, there are some weird characters, insane Queens, a Mad Hatter, a caterpillar, a grinning kitty whose grin comes and goes with its body, etc. Pinky is fearless, but my ears and whiskers, please be careful Fearless Pinky! And where is Bubba.?
But at least (as far as we know) there are no flying monkeys in this story, so at least there is that! I’m sure Mr. Bub will turn up eventually! (Of course so will the wicked queen, but we are still holding auditions for that part!- stay tuned.)
How can a author/writer/cartoonist survive with prices like that? :{ There are so many real-life choices for the Queen of Hearts (Kirstjen Nielsen for one), the Mad Hatter and all the other characters. You have your work cut out for you, but I have no doubt in your wicked sense of humor. The suspense builds…
The easy (and somewhat flip) answer is that we can’t. I’m hoping that the ebooks will provide a little trickle of revenue, and induce people to get the print versions of the book too.
Yes, there are many real life choices for the Red Queen. Babette is lobbying heavily for the part, as is KittySue. She better watch out. You don’t want to cross Babette de Panda!

I haven’t quite decided who the Red Queen is going to be, but Babette is definitely a contender for the role.

I’m a fan of your ‘toons, and I have all your books. I subscribe to your website, and I receive all your publications. I’m even a member of your secret page (with that special password to enter!).
I only dare to point out a suggestion (or a dream): a great book ‘All ’bout Pinky, all da time’, where it gathers all all all all the strips of Pinky, even those that are already published in other books. ‘The great book of Pinky’ or ‘How the princess came to dominate the world’. It would be great.
But I know I can not charge you with work, with my intimate wishes, so I’ll follow lil’ princess through your periodicals.
I hope you can understand that my suggestion is just a personal desire, my English is not very good, and I wouldn’t like you to misunderstand me.

Thank you so much! I have often thought about “treasury” volumes about specific pandas, Pinky being the most obvious candidate. I can’t promise that it will happen (as it all depends on my workload) but it is not out of the realms of possibility.
